EasyLunchboxes is gearing up for big things in 2017. In order to serve you better, we are moving to a larger distribution center. Beginning 11/1/16, orders will be shipped from MDS Fulfillment in WI.

Last month I traveled to Elk Grove, IL – just outside of Chicago, to meet my new warehousing and shipping partners at Tigers (USA) Global logistics. If you’ve ever wondered how something you ordered online got to your doorstep, take a peek “backstage” at EasyLunchboxes …
After being with a smaller company since launching EasyLunchboxes in 2009, it was time to make the move to a bigger and more capable shipping partner. So this past June, with an eye towards growth, and expansion into global markets, I made the step up to Tigers, transferring 100s of pallets of inventory and ironing out just about as many details during the set-up process.
With the busy back to school season looming in just a few short weeks, everyone worked feverishly to put systems in place so that orders and deadlines would be met. And meet them they did! So much so, that I unexpectedly ran out of some of my key products due to a welcome (big) jump in sales. (Thank you for your patience!) “Classic” containers and “Mini Dippers” are back in stock now, aqua cooler bags are coming this week, and more “Brights” containers arrive next month.
The Tigers Chicago team, led by general manager Maureen Cervone and logistics manager Brian Howes, are customer service superstars! Ryan is assigned to handle
all my demands my day to day orders and he makes sure each and every custom request is met. Whether they’re shipping one lunch bag to a family in Rhode Island, or pallets full of container sets to Amazon’s many fulfillment centers, Tigers gets the job done. And fast 🙂
