These are truly the best food containers for conquering morning chaos! Please note that the lids are not super tight fitting as they are meant to be opened easily by small children. If you were to put a sandwich in the container, turn it upside down and shake it, the lid would most likely fall off. That's normal for our containers. Unlike many other lunch box systems, there is plenty of room to add additional items inside the bag! Why be limited to just the 3 compartments if you want other items too? I like to send a container of yogurt along with a water bottle, a spoon and an ice block. When the weather gets colder, my girls’ favorite lunch is one that also includes a thermos of hot soup! There’s plenty of room for that, as well as the yogurt and other items! Although our EasyLunchbox containers hold food securely, they are not leakproof and we don’t recommend putting wet food into any of the compartments. That’s why we’ve made sure that there is plenty of room in the carrying bag to hold a thermos, or your choice of container for any items that contain liquid…your menu, your choices! On really busy days, consider packing two EasyLunchbox containers into one carrying bag for two packed ahead meals. There’s still room on top for an ice block to keep it all fresh for hours!
