What are the dimensions of the Lunch Container?
9.38" x 6.1" x 2" Compartment capacities: Large section - 2.5 Cups, Smaller section - 3/4 cup, Smallest section- 1/2 cup. The inside of the largest compartment is approx 4.5" x 5" inches and 1.75" deep. An oversize sandwich will fit if you cut and overlap as necessary.
What are the dimensions of the Lunch Bag?
9” x 6.5” x 6.5” (the sides flex out a bit to hold the container securely and without wiggle room, ensuring that the container does not shake around in the bag, thereby keeping the food stabilized). Up to 3 containers will fit in one lunch bag.
How durable are your containers?
EasyLunchbox containers are made from BPA-free, FDA-approved, food-safe polypropylene (#5). Our containers are much sturdier and last quite a bit longer than flimsy reusable/disposable containers. Click HERE for a comparison. At $13.95 for four, this comes to only $3.48 a container. Used every day, this is a great value for many months of use. As with all hard plastics, cracking may eventually occur. Our soft-sided cooler bags will protect the containers and help prevent breakage. This is why we recommend that you use our custom-fit, cushioned coolers to protect the lunch container. Other lunch bags may be ill-fitting or too hard. If dropped while in the wrong type of cooler, the container or lid may become damaged. Should you ever notice any sharp edges, please stop using, to prevent injury to little fingers. Consider purchasing an extra set to have on hand.
Are the containers leakproof?
Although our Easylunchbox containers hold food securely, they are not designed to be leakproof, and we don’t recommend putting really wet food or liquid into any of the compartments. For a compartmentalized container to be completely leakproof, this would require carefully sealing all of the compartments, every time. We have found that most children are not able to do this consistently, and if you send such a container to school properly sealed, it may not come home that way; leftovers could be dripping out everywhere. But click HERE for a little something you can try for thicker foods like yogurt. If you want to send really runny items like sauces or dressings, it's best to use individual leakproof small containers for these foods, and there is plenty of room in our carrying bag to include them.
Can the container lids become loosened?
Preschoolers can open the lids on our containers easily. When used as recommended (laid flat in our cooler bags / carried upright), the container lids stay put and food does not spill out. Please note that the lids are not super tight fitting as they are meant to be opened easily by small children. If you were to put a sandwich in the container, turn it upside down and shake it, the lid would most likely fall off. That's normal for our containers. That's why we recommend carrying them upright in our cooler bags.

However, some schools and/or parents require lunches to be transported in backpacks or in a different type of lunch bag. Especially in the case of a child pushing their lunch into a backpack or into a small lunch bag, the lid may be loosened. But one savvy mom reported to me that she simply slips a rubberband (a nice hair elastic would work too) around the container before putting it in her son’s backpack.
Do your containers fit into other coolers?

Can I wash the containers in the dishwasher?
Absolutely! Top and bottom rack safe, away from the heating element. It's best not to push them haphazardly between other dishes because, with forceful agitation of water, the edges may crack if wedged too tightly between other items.
How do I clean the lunchbag?
Remove odors from a lunch bag by placing inside, a plate w/a slice of bread that has been soaked in white distilled vinegar. Zip and leave overnight. Our reusable lunch bags can be wiped clean with a damp or soapy cloth, inside or out. Even put them in the washing machine (place in a mesh laundry bag and wash w/cold water/'delicates” soap/gentle cycle/air dry). They come out great!
Are your products food safe?
We are very proud of our products’ safety ratings. We have ensured that all the materials used in our containers and bags are food and child safe and even pass strict FDA requirements! Easylunchbox products contain NO Lead, Vinyl, PVC, Phthalates, or Bisphenol A (BPA). Click HERE for more about our product safety info.
Are the containers safe to use in the microwave?
Our plastic containers are FDA-approved for microwave use. They are made with the highest grade polypropylene plastic (#5), a plastic that will not leach harmful chemicals when heated or cooled. More info here.
How do you ship your products?
For FREE or low-cost shipping rates (applies to orders within the USA) we recommend that you order via our Amazon Store.
If you order via our shopping cart, In many cases, the least expensive way to send your package is via the US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. At checkout, choose USPS or our $8.95 FLAT RATE shipping via UPS - whichever costs less. We make NO money on shipping, and you are charged only the rates as calculated via USPS or UPS.
Priority Mail option only to PO Boxes, APO, FPO.
USPS for International service and shipments outside the continental United States.

All EasyLunchbox products ordered through our shopping cart are shipped from our warehouse located in Lexington, KY (40511). Most orders will ship the business day after you place your order. International orders ship within 2-4 days. Orders do not ship on weekends or holidays. Your order should arrive within 4-7 business days after placing it. International orders can take up to 30 days to arrive, but most reach their destination within 2 weeks or less.

Do you ship to International Destinations?
Yes. Easylunchboxes.com does ship orders to most international destinations. If your country appears in the shopping cart country drop down list, then we do ship to your country. You can see how much shipping will cost by filling in your order and address. The cart will calculate. Order will NOT be final until you click "finalize order." Please see our shipping policy.
Can I order by phone or mail if I don't want to order online?
Of course! Your Easylunchboxes.com online purchase is extremely safe and risk free. You may order by check via our website and mail the check in with your emailed order receipt. Do you charge sales tax?
Only orders placed within the state of CA are subject to sales tax.
How do I check status on my order?

How can I change an order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if an order needs to be changed. If your order has already been processed and shipped, it cannot be changed. In this case you are responsible for all applicable charges on returned products.

What if I’m not happy with something? Can I return an order?

I tried to place an order through the shopping cart and I keep getting an error.
Generally, things go smoothly, but in some cases, particularly with international orders, errors can occur. Usually this has to do with the address verification system. You have to use the billing address associated with your credit card. And you must spell the address in the same way that it displays on your credit card bill. For example, if you put “rd.” instead of “road,” these little things can cause a rejection. If this is the case please email us your order, or even call us directly. We are happy to process your order for you. The dial country code for the U.S. is 001. Please make sure your email address is valid and it is an email address that you check often.
