Affiliate Tips
All affiliate programs are a little different. The EasyLunchbox.com Affiliate Program runs through UltraCart. Some of their terminology may not be standard but hopefully you will find the system fairly easy to implement into your promotional campaigns.

Commissions
20% for all product sales. 5% for all sub sales if you introduce another affiliate to the program. To qualify for this, you would use “Your Affiliate Recruiting Link.”
Create Your Affiliate Links
Easily create an image link (aka “blog button”), a text link, or an invisible link from within your affiliate acct! Just log into your Affiliate account and click on Affiliate Tools > Manage Links > New Link and follow the simple prompts to create any of these types of links. That’s really all you need to do. However, if you feel like you would like to have more details, please read the below for clarification:
Types of Links
Text Link. (“Simple Link”)

(replace the xs with your affiliate code.)
The reason they call it a “simple link” is because when you create your image link, you will see that the ACTUAL link is much more complicated and looks something like this:

Basically, all you have to do is add ?AFFID=XXXXX to the end of any of the pages of our site, including any of our shopping cart pages, if you prefer to send people directly to the cart!
Use the above Simple URL format to build links from your website or blog or email, etc. It is assumed that you know how to create a link or your html editor should do it for you. You may associate any text you like with this link. If you are not sure how to build a link and you do not have an html editor, the following should give you a guide:

Image Link
When you are in your affiliate account, you can create your own image link and even direct which page of our site you want it to land on. Then you copy and paste that code into your site. MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE ALL THE CODE OR YOU WILL NOT BE CREDITED FOR ANY SALES ARISING FROM IT! Also, your affiliate number WILL NOT be evident in an image link so do not worry.
Invisible Link
This is a link that has no special code attached to it at all. This means that you can just have http://www.yoursite.com linking directly to http://www.easylunchboxes.com The system will be able to detect that the source is coming from your site and will install the tracking cookie on the customer’s computer just like regular affiliate links. The benefit of this type of link is that the link itself just looks like a regular URL and doesn’t have any affiliate code embedded in it. This may be advantageous in certain cases. If you choose this option, you can specify which landing page of our site you want it to go to. The invisible link will function correctly from ANY PAGE of your domain. The only downside of this option is that it is not immediately functional. You have to await an approval from our affiliate department to activate it.
To create an invisible link, log in to your affiliate account. Then Manage Links > New Link. For “link type” choose “invisible.” Fill in the rest of your details and click “save.” Then wait for our approval.
Affiliate Recruiting Link
The only time you would use this type of link is if you don’t want to promote our products but you want to promote our affiliate program to affiliates.

Why is a slash added to my affiliate link?
Our server adds the "/" when someone types it into the browser, but it needs to have no slash in the link initially for the affiliate to be credited.
Why don’t I see my affiliate code in the address bar on all pages of your website?
?AFFID=xxxxx does not remain visible on all sub pages of the site. But the system internally will remember that the referral came from the affiliate.

You’re welcome to use any of the images that you see on our site to promote our products on your site. In addition, you may find some banners below that you prefer, or you may use a simple text link!
