So thanks to my friend Nina, also known as Mamabelly, here are 6 peanut butter sandwich alternatives, perfect for your lunchbox. She writes:
“My kids have been in a sandwich spread rut. They only ask for peanut butter and chocolate spread these days and I decided enough is enough. I am challenging them to suggest No PBJ and chocolate spread sandwiches or lunches starting today all the way until Friday next week to show them that they like many other things as well. I make the kids homemade lunchables. The stores have too much sodium among other things. We have cheese, turkey, and crackers. We do a thin bagel and cream cheese or a mini croissant with turkey. All with a veggie, fruit, and organic yogurt. A boiled egg or leftover pizza.
Sorry I’m typing on the iPad and the end did not sound well lol. Another lunch choice could be homemade pizza or a boiled egg along with a veggie, fruit, and yogurt.
All sound yummy to me! Thanks Suz
My son is in a nut free school so every day is a pbj free day. lol
